Metal Seal Fittings

Visteon has developed an innovative metal fitting that replaces the conventional elastomer-type seal typically found in automotive fluid transport applications.

This patented "zero leak" fitting uses a metal seal at its primary sealing surface and is similar in size and assembly characteristics to existing block style fittings. Visteon's metal seal fitting can be fitted to all refrigerant components in either a brazed or formed configuration, and can be applied to R134a, R1234yf and R744 (CO2) applications.
